A Stoneware salt cellar with a gloss pink glaze. This salt bowl is individually hand crafted, thrown on a potter's wheel and fired in an eco electric kiln. Due to the processes and glazes used, each item is a one off.
The wooden spoon was hand carved from seasoned walnut wood using traditional techniques and hand tools. The wooden lid is also made from walnut and was turned on a lathe to achieve the perfect fit for the bowl. They are both finished with a food safe wood butter made from coconut oil, linseed oil and beeswax.
This container could also be used for jam, honey or sugar.
